SLEMAN, KRJogja.com - In order to celebrate the 40th anniversary on December 5, 2017, BPJS Employment held a roadshow to 50 campuses in Indonesia. UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta was chosen as the only representative of the campus in Yogyakarta.

The movement titled "40 Minutes of Teaching" aimed to socialize the benefits of BPJS Employment from an early age to students, who are going to get to the workforce soon.

"An important country is providing a social security for the people to ensure the independence in the event of social risks, whether in the form of money or services," said Hengky Rhosidien, head of accounting division of BPJS Employment. It also presented Ainul Kholid (Head of branch BPJS Employment Yogyakarta) in the event held at the Seminar Room UPN Agriculture, Tuesday (28/11/2017).

This event had the exposure of the four BPJS Employment programs namely Work Accident Insurance (JKK), Old Age Security (JHT), Death Insurance (JKM), and Pension Guarantee (JP). Hengky explained, there was also the latest program that is Return to Work.

"We will train to have other skills workers who have an accident at work. So that the workers are not harmed, " said Hengky who is also an alumnus of Accounting '93.

The obstacle encountered at the present is that not all companies feel that social security is important for the staffs. Another obstacle is that sometimes the wages reported by the company are not the actual wage amount. "For that reason, the public should check whether the reported wages are actually or not. If not, please report or get through the union, "explained Hengky.

It is expected after this event, the participants consisting of students and lecturers  can understand every program BPJS Employment better to avoid the things that are not desirable. (MG-19)
