SLEMAN - In order to enliven the 59th Anniversary, UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) held a gymnastics and healthy walk with all lecturers, staff and students on Friday (8/12/2017).

The theme of this year's Dies Natalis was the State Defense Campus of the Four Pillars of Nationality.

This gymnastics and sporting event was a series of Dies Natalis celebrations that was culminated with the holding of the Open Senate Session on 15 December 2017.

President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was planned to attend an open session and delivered his oration to the academic community at UPNVY.

Rector UPNVY, Prof. Sari Bahagiarti K, M.Sc, in the opening of the activity, said the gymnastics and healthy walk together was also  an arena of gathering among lecturers, employees, and students of UPNVY.

"Let us together be happy to welcome our UPN Campus Dies Natalis with the spirit of defending the State," she said on Rectorate field, UPN Condong Catur Campus.

In addition to senate and sports meetings, various events were organized including national seminars and workshops, national deliberations of mineral engineering experts, students' entrepreneurial week, and other activities. (wwj / humas).
