SLEMAN - 400 lecturers and staff of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) remained excited despite being trained for two days. They were eager to follow the activities until it was finished. The second periode of education training was held at the Yogyakarta Air Force Academy (AAU) Saturday - Sunday (9-10 / 12/2017). Participants received materials on national insights, briefings from Kemhan, de-radicalization, Basic Military Regulations, Linear Rules of line and material of State Defense.

Participants got various activities and physical exercises.

One of the participants, Retno Perwitosari, an employee of the AKPK Bureau said the event was to regenerate the love spirit to the country and to meet other employees.

"Many friends who had rarely met could see each other in this activity. What used to be unfamiliar could be familiar because we were really enjoying it together, " she said when finished the event.

Despite the pain during the training, Retno admitted she did not regret following the event. According to her, the moment with friends of lecturers and employees living in the dorms became memories that would not be forgotten.

The same thing also delivered by Nurina Putri, one of the staff who usually served in the information service. According to her, this activity became a refresher in the official duty routine.

"I usually face guests and prepare information, the task is also indoors. This training is done outside the room and the routine is different, " she said.

This 25-year-old woman said the impressive activity was when they were eating together using “ompreng” or soldiers’ soldiers plate.

The Head of Division Bela Negara UPNVY, Bambang Wicaksono at the closing ceremony, Sunday (10/12/2017) expressed his pride that the participants could undergo the training until the end.

"Although some were sick, Alhamdulillah all participants could follow the closing ceremony. Hopefully by the end of this training, it can form personally the defensive character of the State that have the attitude of stance, discipline, and creativity, "he concluded closing the activity.
