The Socialization and Promotion Team of UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta, consisting of the Public Relation Team, PMB and PUSKOM as well as the deans, held a socialization for the consultation of the Database of Schools and Students (PDSS) data completion on Thursday, 9/2/2017 (the ninth of February 2017) in BALAI PENDIDIKAN MENENGAH KULON PROGO (SECONDARY EDUCATION HALL OF KULON PROGO). This socialization was attended by 64 teacher-operators, as the representatives of High Schools, Islamic High Schools and Vocational Schools in Kulon Progo.

In the description presented in the PDSS socialization, Dr. Mohamad Irhas Effendi, the Deputy Rector commissioning Academic Affairs, presented a thorough SNMPTN registration, starting from the procedures for completion, PDSS verification to SNMPTN registration by the students in concern. In addition, the PDSS completion schedule, and also the re-registration schedule, which coincides the SBMPTN written examination were also presented on that occasion. To improve their understanding, the participants were provided with brochures, posters, and tutorial videos on the procedures for completing data in the Database of Schools and Students (PDSS).

A number of participants were enthusiastic to pay close attention and they even directly asked questions on the PDSS data completion techniques. The questions were concerned with, inter alia, the data completion for transferred students whose academic scores are under the KKM, student not having  NISN, selection of study programs for Vocational School graduates, and including how to be accepted in the National Selection for Entries to State Universities (SNMPTN).
