SLEMAN - To improve the quality of universities, the Faculty of Engineering of Tanjungpura University (Untan) Pontianak signed Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Faculty of Industrial Engineering (UPT) UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY). The signing was conducted between the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Untan Pontianak. rer. Nat. Ir. Rustamaji, M.T. and Dean FTI UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta Ir.Tjukup Marnoto, M.T., Ph.D. in the meeting room of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering, Friday (9/2/2018).
Rustamaji, in his speech said that the signing of MoA was intended to strengthen the Chemical Engineering Study Program of Pontianak
"With this MoA we want to improve the quality of universities of both parties, both Pontianak Untan and UPN" Veteran "Yogyakarta", he said.
Rustamaji said his side would send students of Untan Pontianak to have practicums in Chemical Engineering Department of UPNVY.
By sending of the student, it was expected that the student of Untan can have wider experience and knowledge.
Meanwhile, Tjukup Marnoto welcomed the signing of the cooperation. He to expected the existence of such cooperation agreement can improve the quality of both colleges. Therefore, it was expected that both parties could support each other in the implementation of the cooperation agreement, he hoped. (BMW-fti)
