JOGJA- The Petroleum Engineering Association of UPN Veteran held an Oil and Gas Intellectual Parade (OGIP) 2018. OGIP has been running for 7 years by having scientific competitions and seminars which are participated by 13 universities from several countries.
The Head of Department of Petroleum Engineering UPN Veteran Yogyakarta Heriyanto said, this activity aimed to provide discourse to the students about the development of oil and gas and geothermal industries in Indonesia. One of OGIP 2018 series was CEO Talks at Ballroom Phoenix Hotel, Saturday (17/2).
CEO of Talks was attended by Pertamina Secretary of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tafif Azimudin, Head of SKK Migas Amien Sunaryadi, President Director of PT Pertamina Natuna Sigit Rahardjo, President Director of Saka Energy Indonesia Tumbur Parlindungan, General Manager of PT Scoomi Indonesia Erwin Ariyanto. This event was guided by the President of PT. Indonesian Classification Bureau Rudiyanto.
CEO Talks discussed the development of oil and gas business in Indonesia, especially the reserves and production and efforts to improve the oil and gas production. Therefore, Indonesia experienced a decline in prices last year. "It costs US $ 60 now. It reached US $ 160 / barrel in 2014, but went down to US $ 40/ barrel, "said Heriyanto.
