NUSANTARANEWS.CO, Yogyakarta - The phenomenon of nationality is still hit by identity crisis, the youth who is expected to bear the burden and stem, they are even more mired in the dynamics of sectarian simulation. The spirit of defending the nation and the state according to the foundation of Pancasila is still only a discourse without real implementations that it raises concerns on the harmony of a pluralistic Indonesian society.

In responding to the phenomenon, the youth movement (read: student) of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta in the event of Socialization of Four Pillars of Nationality with the theme of "Understanding Values ??of Pancasila to Youth", Friday (23/02/2017), hoped to be able to answer all kinds of challenges of nationality and Pancasila ideals as the basis of the State.

The dreams of the welfare and security of a nation are the most noble ideals echoed by every Indonesian society, but there is a shift in the intrusions of understanding, racial differences, and beliefs, it becomes the property of the individual who is sometimes full of arrogance in addressing the phenomenon of nationality and Indonesian progress.

Ir. Lestanta Budiman M.Hum, as the speaker at the dialogue comveyed the simplicity of understanding the unity and harmony of the nation. "Pancasila has a strategic position in understanding the diversity of this nation, each point marks togetherness and harmony,, there is no sectarian or individual terms in having Indonesian shade," said Lestanta.

Of course, he continued, Pancasila in the context of youth was not only as a memorization from items one to five, but beyond that, it also understands the meaning and intent Pancasila points in synergizing the harmony of Indonesian society.

"The points of Pancasila will be realized into the values ??of the nation and the state if the society, especially young children are able to contextualize Pancasila in everyday life" he added.

Lastantan valued that the pragmatism and other material offer faced by young people through socio-political intraction with the environment would form a different mental and tends egocentric-sektararian, then to avoid it, the Indonesian young must be smart to care of his intelligence and sort out the appropriate attitude based on the State base.

"In  dealing with the onslaught of pragmatism and things that smelled of material, young people now have to be smart to see himself. Are young people ready to start a good and wise life? Are young people of Indonesia ready to keep the unity of the nation and the State? Are young people now rare eady to practice Pancasila points? If so, we start from self-awareness so that all our national problems will be easily overcome and immediately achieve the real ideals of freedom, "concluded Lastanta. (AN)
