SLEMAN - Currently the support of technology and information systems is a demand for government and Civil State Staff  in providing maximum service. The same demands are also faced by universities. Therefore,  the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education developed Integrated Resource Information System (SISTER) to provide services for lecturers.

The head of UPT Information and Communication Technology (ICT) UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY), Ir. Good Wiyono, M.T. said SISTER makes it easy for lecturers to calculate the lecturer's performance burden (BKD), lecturer certification (Serdos), credit score assessment (PAK), and others in an integrated manner.

"In addition to providing convenience for the lecturers, this application is for updating the data in detail," said Bagus during the SISTER socialization to the lecturers, in the Laboratory Room of International Organizations, FISIP, Campus UPNVY Tambakbayan, Tuesday (20/3/2018).

Alluding to SISTER preparation strategy for success, the lecturer of Department of Mining Engineering explained that universities should install SISTER application, updating lecturer data, and filling the lecturer portfolio.

"The updating of lecturer data is be conducted from February to March 2018, and filling of  the portfolio of lecturers will be conducted from March to May 2018", he explained.

Associated with the benefits of data, Bagus said the lecturer data can provide certainty, ease, and transparency of data. As for college, it is useful as an organized data, no need to build their own applications and it is more manageable.

With this data, Kemristekdikti can meet the planning targets, increase the management capacity, map  the competence of human resources more sharply, and has the availability of more accurate quality indicators.

In addition, with existing data, there will be available full activity-based data, data quality at Higher Education Database (PD-Dikti) increasement, and the updates of resource data is assured.
