SLEMAN - Education and training for Upgrading the Occupational Health and Safety (K3) of Oil and Gas for operators and supervisors in the field of mining and petroleum held by the UPNVY Center for Mineral Geotechnology Research (UPNVY) was in line with the vision of the university mission.
This was conveyed by the UPNVY Rector, Prof Sari Bahagiari K, when opening the event on Thursday (22/03/2018) at Mineral Geotechnology Museum, UPN Babarsari Campus.
The Importance of Health and Safety (K3) is in accordance with Rector Regulation No. 11 of 2017 on the development of UPNVY as a sustainable green campus. This regulation conveyed the spirit to build the campus into a beautiful, comfortable and safe and save environment.
"Not only the beautiful, comfortable and safe infrastructure, but also it must be supported by human resources who understand the security and safety procedures," he said.
In front of the training participants, Sari expressed her appreciation of the implementation of K3 training and training.
"Hopefully this training can regulary be held every year. Not once a year, but up to two to three years. We congratulate the participants, hopefully everything can pass it, " she concluded.
Oil and Gas K3 Training for operators and supervisors level in mining and petroleum sector would be held for four days on March 22 - 25, 2018. Previously, similar training was held on 22-25 February 2018. (wwj / humas)
