SLEMAN - The Ministry of Communications and Informatics (Kominfo) continues to boost the program of one million free domain.id this year. In addition to free domains, Kominfo also provides free hosting and training.

To achieve the target, Kominfo in cooperation with UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) organized entrepreneurship training and domain utilization, in UPT Career Development and Entrepreneurship (UPT PKK), Saturday (7/4/2018).

"This program has been implemented since 2016. This program aims to help the community and to improve the contents in Indonesia, whether in the activities of online shop, web for information and digital online and others," said Ir.Ade Tantra, Director www.sejutaw.id one of Kominfo designated hosting.

Domains that have been purchased (reservations) will be used by small and medium industries (IKM). however, it also invited the individual community who want to have a free .id domain.

"This cooperation can provide opportunities for students to reach their business more broadly, the business is more growing and developing, and is able to increase the  economic growth," said Head of PKK UPNVY, Ir.Dyah Probowati, MT.
