SLEMAN - The Meaning of Karsa as Marketing Public Relations Team of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta is conducting an event entitled From Us to Her which coincides with Kartini Day on Saturday (21/04/2018).

With the theme of Women Are Power which means that women have a hidden potency as their strength, this event is able to attract dozens of young women to participate in the series of programs From Us to Her. Located at After 9, Jalan Kaliurang KM 5.3 No. 28, Caturtunggal, Sleman, Yogyakarta, this event was opened by Christin Natalin Naibaho as Chief Executive.

Not only that, Puji Lestari as a lecturer as well as representative of Pusat Studi Wanita (PSW) of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta also gave a very good reception for the participants.

One of the interesting events was a talk show with two inspirational speakers. The figure of Ria Papermoon shared the experience of how to begin  the establishment of Papermoon Puppet Studio, which made the participants interested in asking some questions about her experience.

"At the first time, I was not sure I had an art soul, but after hanging out with friends who were involved in art, I became part of them" Ria said when asked about her interest in the arts until finally founded Sanggar Papermoon Puppet.

Success was finally achieved by Ria Papermoon who has maintained her business for twelve years.

Not only there, Priscilla Mariana also presented to share the story of her. She told about how to fight for women's rights by becoming General Coordinator of Women March in Yogyakarta.

"As a fellow women, we must remind each other to continue the women emancipation, don’t  let the woman herself  kill women's emancipation," said Priscilla Mariana when asked about how should the role of women nowadasy.

Not inferior to the excitement of talk shows, the workshop also became a time awaited by the participants of  From Us to Her. The flower arrangement workshop filled by Floweridea Jogja became very interesting. The enthusiasm of the participants was very large, visible from the spirit to learn how to make beautiful flower arranging. Science gained from this flower arrangement workshop also expected the creativity of the participants and it can be useful for the future. (Dzikrina Afifah)
