SLEMAN - The demand for quite a lot of public relations graduates, in the world of work today seems to be heard well by Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta (UPNVY). UPN opened a new study program is Public Relations (PR) this year in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP).
In order to branding, Communication Studies program helped through the event held by marketing public relations students.
"Communication Studies students have the competence to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate an event. The students are able to speak in public, work with groups, write events in the media, and establish relationships with various government and private institutions, communities, and all is in a creative event created, "said DR. This event, said Pudji, is a forum for the University to socialize PR as a new study program to the high school students in Yogyakarta through interesting and creative activities.
The event held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at RRI Gejayan Auditorium which was also a major supporter of this event.
PamitSinauYk, Pudji continued, was divided into two forms of activities performed on the same day. First was the Motivation Training in which there were motivational activities to students to be able to pass SBMPTN test.
There was Motivation Training by Dwi Fahruddin A.A, SP as the head of Ganesha Operation Yogyakarta guidance counseling branch. Still in the same session, there was the socialization activities of PR Study Program by Sigit Tri Pambudi, S. SOS, M. Si as the coordinator of public relations program.
The second activity was t the first ranking competition that aimed as an entertainment with a variety of attractive prizes.
This event was closed by the release of hundreds of birds as a form of hope and aspirations of high school students who joined these activities.
"We carry this event with a target of thousands of high school students in Yogyakarta. The goal is to provide information, motivate the students, and create a fun learning environment together.
