SLEMAN - The number of applicants through Joint Selection of State Universities or SBMPTN in 2018, at UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY), until the last Friday (4/27/2018) at 19.00 WIB recorded 29,076 prospective students. From the data reported by UPT of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) UPNVY, Management Study Program still dominated the top 1, 2 and 3 choice of SBMPTN participants with 3,253 registrants. Furthermore, the selection program with the most applicants is Communication Science as many as 2,747 applicants, 2,371 applicants of Mining Engineering,  and 2,124 applicants of Informatics Engineering. "Today is the closing day, it is until 22:00 pm, take advantage of the remaining time if you want to register," said Vice Rector of UPNVY, M.Irhas Effendi, Friday (27/04/2018). The registration 2018 SBMPTN is done online and can be seen in http://pendaftaran.sbmptn.ac.id. Meanwhile, the procedures for filling out the registration form of written and skill exams can be downloaded from the http://download.sbmptn.ac.id page that has been started since March 29, 2018. "There are still a lot of potential participants who come to  UPN seeking information of SBMPTN registration. All the information has been announced online, so it is easier to be accessed, "said Irhas. The cost of self-selection charged the participants SBMPTN 2018 as much as Rp 200,000 and can be paid through one bank namely Mandiri, BNI or BTN. The written exam, both UTBC and UTBK in SBMPTN 2018 will be on May 8, 2018, while the skills test will be on 9 and or 11 May 2018. In addition to the opening of new admissions through the SBMPTN, UPNVY also opens student enrollment through the National Selection of State University (SNMPTN) which has been announced the result a few days ago and through the Independent Selection. "The Independent Selection registration will be  on May 9 to June 13, 2018," said Irhas. This year SBMPTN is held through two types of tests, namely Manually or Print Based Writing Exam (UTBC) and Computer Based Writing Exam (UTBK) which can be followed by graduate students of 2016, 2017 and 2018 of the secondary education (SMA / MA / SMK ) and the equivalent and the graduates of Package C of 2016, 2017 and 2018.  UTBC UPNVY will be implemented by 3500 participants, and UTBK by 300 participants on May 8, 2018. This year UPNVY has a capacity of 3,035 prospective undergraduate students and 80 D3. A total of 911 seats are allocated through the SNMPTN line.
