SLEMAN - A total of 3,800 participants of the Joint Selection of State University (SBMPTN) for the category of Social Humaniora (Soshum) participated in the Academic Skills and Ability Test (TKPA), as well as the Soshum Basic Capabilities Test (TKD Soshum) at UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) Tuesday (8/5/2018). A total of 3500 participants attended the Print Bebasis Exam (UTBC) and 300 participants of Computer Based Writing (UTBK).

They were divided into classrooms in Campus 1 Condong Catur and Campus 2 Babarsari.

The TKPA exam started at 10.00 WIB, while TKD Soshum started at 13.00 - 14.30 WIB.

"For UTBK we provide classes in Pattimura Building located in Campus 2," said the Vice Rector for Academic UPNVY, M Irhas Effendy.

The assessment of SBMPTN 2018 no longer used score four for correct answer, zero score for not answering, and score minus one for wrong answer as in SBMPTN 2017.

Irhas said the assessment this time used a score of one for the correct answer and zero for the wrong answer.

Just to note, the registration of SBMPTN 2018 closed per 27 April 2018 at 22:00 pm. Based on the final data registration of SBMPTN 2018, there were 29.475 participants registered to UPNVY.

This year is the fourth year for UPNVY holding SBMPTN and joining the Local Committee 46 along with 4 other State Universities in DIY. (wwj / humas)
