Sleman - A total of 29,475 applicants of the 2018 Higher Education Entrance Selection (SBMPTN) in UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) will compete for 1,214 seats.

"SBMPTN 2018 is held simultaneously on Tuesday (16/5). In Yogyakarta, the implementation of SBMPTN is followed by 5 state universities, namely UGM, UNY, UPN, UIN Sunan Kalijaga and ISI under the coordination of Local Committee 46 Yogyakarta, "said Markus as the Head of Cooperation and Public Relations of UPNVY.

Markus said UPNVY facilitates 181 SBMPTN exam rooms in 5 faculties at UPNVY.

The exams are divided into 3 categories: Saintek, Basic Ability, Academic Potential and Soshum. The exam ends at 2:30. Exam conducted by the current participants is a written exam consisting of Print-Based Writing Exam (UTBC) and Computer Based Writing Exam (UTBK).

The test results will be announced on Tuesday (3/7/2018) starting at 17.00 WIB and will be accessible on page http://pengumuman.sbmptn.ac.id

The SBMPTN 2018 examination implementation was reviewed by General Inspector of Kemenristek Dikti Prof. Dr. Jamal Wawoho, SH, M.Hum together with 5 Rectors from UPN, UGM, UNY, UIN Sunan Kalijaga and ISI, and Vice Rector for Field 1, Chairman of the Committee, Quality Assurance and Head of Public Relations of each PTN.
