SLEMAN - The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY), Partoyo became guest lecturer at the Eszterhazy Karoly University, Hungary, for the ERASMUS Mobility program from 23 to 30 April.
Quoted from news written by László Lakatos at http://geonature.uni-eger.hu, Partoyo presented his research on soil, soil contamination, soil protection and landscape evaluation to some students. During the two-day program, Partoyo also discussed with professors on ongoing research at the Geographic Institute and at the Faculty of Agricultural and Rural Development. In addition to the discussions, Partoyo also tried the working equipments at the research institute.
On the second day at the Károly Róbert Campus in Gyöngyös, Partoyo gave a lecture on the assessment of a high resolution landscape on the island of Java with many input parameters.
In his writings, László Lakatos expressed his appreciation for having the opportunity to host Partoyo at Eszterházy Károly University.
"With the help of meaningful and well-structured lectures, our lucky students got a lot of useful information on research and test methods in Indonesia," he wrote.
Lakatos hoped that this program will be further strengthening our institutional relationships, opening the way for many students to have the opportunity to spend 1 semester in Yogyakarta at UPN through the program. (wwj / humas)
