SLEMAN - UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) established a partnership with PT Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI). The signing of the cooperation was held in Rectorate Building, UPN Condong Catur Campus, Thursday (7/6/2018).

The signing of cooperation with PT Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) relates to Distribution of Consumer Credit Facility for UPNVY lecturers or students. The signing was done by Rector UPNVY, Prof. Sari Bahagiarti K and Branch Manager of PT BNI (Persero) Tbk. UGM , Suryo Wikanthomo.

The purpose of this cooperation is for distributing consumer credits facilities and helping smooth installment payments / payments, as well as other Debtor's liabilities on the granting of consumer credit facilities.

The scope of cooperation includes the stipulation of terms and conditions of the granting of consumer credit facilities, recommendation to BNI regarding UPNVY employees who are eligible to obtain consumer credit facilities.

"So far, the financial problems for research are it’s sometimes late, hopefully  this cooperation can help in conducting the research," said Sari.

The term of cooperation between UPN and BNI is valid for 5 years started from the signing of the agreement and the cooperation can be extended.

BNI new program currently is BNI Education Flexi, a credit facility without collateral for the education cost of Bachelor  to Doctoral Degree at State Universities, as well as the research conducted by the lecturers.

Suryo Wikanthomo said that  BNI wants to provide the convenience to lecturers and students who will conduct researches. Having the funding from BNI, they can do researches even though it has not been funded. Likewise, the recipients of the scholarship, when the scholarship has not yet been funded,  they can have a bailout.

"BNI also distributes funding on easy terms for UPN scholarship recipients or Master and doctoral Degree students who have worked and had their salary through BNI," ??he explained, "he said. (Wwj / humas)
