Sleman-UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) on this Sunday (July 15, 2018) again held the Independent Selection in the form of Writing Exam. The Writing Exam is conducted simultaneously in 6 cities, namely, Yogyakarta, Jakarta, Pekanbaru, Balikpapan, Bontang and Banjarmasin.

The Independent Selection is one of the new student admissions line of academic year 2018, apart from SNMPTN and SBMPTN lines.

The Sub Division Head of  Cooperation and Public Relations, Markus Kusnardiyanto, S. Sos admitted that he was quite surprised by the number of participants this year.

"The number of participants Write Test of Independent Selection of UPNVY 2018 was 8,038 participants. As the details of the selection, there were 6,394 people in Yogyakarta, 810 people in Jakarta, 160 people in Pekanbaru, 47 people in Balikpapan, 39 in Bontang regional, and 26 in Banjarmasin.

The Independent Selection Writing Exam have no special needs participants (difabel) this time.

A total of 8,038 written exam participants of UPNVY grabbed  911-seats undergraduate program. Previously through the SBMPTN, UPNVY has a quota of prospective students for 1214 people and received from SNMPTN for 911 people. (dewi / publicist)
