SLEMAN – The election of UPN Rector "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) 2018 comes to the decisive stage. The Chairman of the Rector Election Committee, Ir. Ramli Sitanggang., MT said that after the administration selection on June 25 to 26, the Senate set the prospective rectors on July 9, 2018.

"The announcement of the rector candidate's election results by the Senate was announced on July 16. We have announced the information through www.upnyk.ac.id page, "said Ramli.

Currently there are four names of prospective candidates who are candidates from the internal UPNVY, namely Dr. Ir. Abdul Rizal, AZ., MP, Dr. Ir. Singgih Saptono, MT, Dr. M.Irhas Effendi, MS, and Dr.Ir. Suharsono, MT.

The delivery of vision and mission prospective rectors will be carried out at the next stage on 10 - 13 August 2018. Then, there will be the evaluation and election of the rector candidates to the determination of the rector candidate.

"Of the four candidates will pursed into 3 names. Furthermore, the Senate will send the name of the rector candidates to the Minister of Research and Technology on August 14, 2018, "he said.
