UPNVY SOCIALIZES PMB AND COOPERATION WITH PT. KPC :: dipost pada 20 Maret 2017

On  March 16th , 2017, UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta Team, composed of Dr. Moh. Irhas Efendi, MS. Deputy Rector Commissioning Academic Affairs, Dr. Ir. Singgih Saptono, MT., Deputy Rector Commissioning Students’ Affairs and Cooperation, and Marcus Kusnardijanto, S. Sos, head of Sub-division of Cooperation and Public Relations arrived in Sangatta, East Kalimantan, and were welcome by UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta’s alumnae then working at PT. KCP, in Sangatta, East Kalimantan.

On  March 16th , 2017, UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta’s Socialization Team met the alumnae, who numbered approximately 32 persons. In hat meeting, a dialog was held, regarding the progress of UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta and the opportunity/possibility for students of UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta to practice working/to be apprentices at PT. KPC.

On March 17th , 2017, the UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta’s Socialization Team, at 09.00 Sangatta Time, provided the socialization on Higher education (universities) before the students and students’ parents in PT. KPC. Many questions related to the accreditation of each study programs. Especially the study programs in the Faculty of Mineral Technology, many of which still hold B accreditation grade, were asked by the meeting attendants. Also inquired are the future prospects after finishing the study at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta. The Discussion was attended by approximately 30 representatives from the students and students’ parents in area.

Following the socialization, was the signing of the Cooperation Agreement draft for the Provision of S1 Degree (Bachelor Degree) Higher Education for the children of PT. KPC employees at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta, for 2017/2018 Academic Calendar. In that execution of the Cooperation Agreement, PT. KPC, which was represented by Mr. Khudori, the General Manager of Human Resources, stated that the cooperation will not be limited to higher education studies for bachelor (S1) study programs but will also be extended for the lecturers of UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta, especially those studying for Doctorate Degree Programs, to conduct joint researches at, and will be facilitated by, PT. KPC.
