SLEMAN - UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) initiated a collaboration with the Government of Brebes Regency. The effort was to be able to take a role in supporting development in Brebes.

The cooperation that will be established is focused on the fields of education, research, and development and community service.

"UPN Veteran Yogyakarta will help in solving problems in Brebes, especially in the synergy of Academic, Business, Community and Government," said FTI UPNVY Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Planning and Cooperation (KPKS), Ir. Mahreni, M.T., Ph.D, during a visit to the office of the Regent of Brebes, Thursday (1/17).

During the visit, Mahreni hoped that the UPNVY would have an assisted village in Brebes Regency, which was used by the lecturers in research and community service activities.

"We want to transfer knowledge or technology according to community needs that are applicable or appropriate”, she said.

Assistant I of the Regional Secretariat (Setda) of Brebes Regency, H. Athoillah, M, Si conveyed various opportunities for cooperation, among the potential development with techniques to develop products in their area.
