SLEMAN - Deputy Governor of DIY, Sri Paduka Paku Alam X, welcomed to the Fun Bike UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta (UPNVY)  Fun Bike UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta (UPNVY)  which will be held on March 17, 2019. The activity which was held to commemorate the General Attacks on March 1, 1949, targeted 10,000 participants.

"We will support any activities that are important, positive and useful for the community,” said the Deputy Governor of Yogyakarta when receiving an audience of Management of the Alumni Association of Mining (IKATA) and the Faculty of Economics Alumni Association (KAFENTA) in Kepatihan Complex, Danurejan, Yogyakarta, Monday (11/02/2019).

The 1982 Faculty of Economics and Business UPNVY UPNVY alumni also presented an event title SO March 1, 1949 : Efforts to Strengthen the State's Mentality as the Nation's Pioneer Development Generation to be a momentum for all alumni bond compartments to work together to raise UPNVY.

In the meeting, the representatives of UPNVY alumni association submitted a request for support to the activities which will be held in the North Square.

"This activity has been routinely held every year, it was previously also held in the Square, but the organizers were only the FE alumni of  1985 but this year KAFENTA and IKATA also support it," said Adi Tantra, alumni of Mining Engineering in 1988 and IKATA UPNVY board.

The route taken is starting from North Square of Yogyakarta, passing Puro Pakualam, Jogja Kembali Monument, and returning to North Square of Yogyakarta.

"The registration fee of this activity is Rp. 40,000 per person for the facilities of t-shirt, door prize coupons, sanck and mineral water, and insurance," explained Yenny Wahyu Cahyani, alumni of the Faculty of Economics and Business UPNVY of 1985 as well as the event section coordinator.

Registration points are in UPNVY Condongcatur campus, ticket boxes, bicycle shop networks in DIY and Central Java, gymnastics and bicycle clubs, as well as newspaper and radio offices.

The committee has prepared various door prizes of 1 unit of car, motorcycle, bicycle, LCD TV, handphone, etc. to attract the interest of Yogyakarta residents and the cyclists community.

In addition to fun bike, various activities will also be carried out fun walks, fun aerobics, exhibitions, bazaars, entertainment and social services. (wwj / PR)
