Sleman - UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) provides 815 computers units for the implementation of Computer Based Writing Exams (UTBK) for the state universities admission  of  the Joint Selection to State Universities Admission.

Markus Kurnardijanto, S.Sos as the Head of the Cooperation and Public Relations Subdivision said to prepare UTBK, UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta had already cooperated with the surrounding schools. Some of the schools which were invited to work together for the smooth implementation of UTBK are SMK 1 Depok, SMK 5, SMK 6, ADISUCIPTO VOCATIONAL SCHOOL and Muhamadiyah 2 High School.

Markus added, the selection of the state universities admission has several changes. The change is completely different from previous years. The implementation of the 2019 SBMPTN has only one test method, namely the Computer-Based Writing Exam (UTBK), the Print-Based Writing Test (UTBC) method was abolished. The implementation of UTBK can be done twice. Every student has the opportunity to take the test twice. Each test will be charge 200 thousand rupiahs and prospective students can choose two PTNs. The test material developed in UTBK 2019 is the Scholastic Potential Test (TPS) and Academic Competency Test (TKA) with the Science Tehnology or Social Sciences examination group.
