Sleman – There were students of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta attended a socialization event about the enforcement of the Election Organizing Code of Ethics (KEPP) from the Honorary Board of the Republic of Indonesia Election Organizers (DKPP RI).

Resource persons were namely Dr. Alfitra Salam from DKPP member, Endang Wihdatiningtyas as TPD member in DIY Province and Syopiansyah Jaya Putra, DKPP Expert. This event was held at Keisha Hotel on Jl. Affandi No.9 Gejayan Sleman Yogyakarta, on Monday, March 18, 2019, at 09.00 WIB,

The purpose of this activity was to provide an understanding of the duties and functions of DKPP institutions as the KEPP enforcement agencies, as well as to socialize the DKPP regulations to the academic community in Yogyakarta, known as the student city.

This socialization activity invited several academics in the Yogyakarta region, one of them was students from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, UPNVY.

Joshua, one of the UPNVY students from the Business Administration Study Program (21), said that “by having this activity, I hope that the General Election 2019 can be free of politics and can present millennial needs, one of which is a related work program on employment”.

"Hopefully my voting rights can be useful for the future," added this sixth semester student.

At the same opportunity, Willy, a student representative from the Business Administration study program (21),hopes that the 2019 election can give wise, fair leaders and be able to build a better quality millennial generation.
