Sleman - UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) extends the enrollment period of new undergraduate students from the Independent Selection (SM) for the 2019 academic year. The registration period that is closed on July 6, 2019 will be extended until July 11, 2019. The participants who have not registered can immediately register through the website page pmb.upnyk.ac.id. This extension of the registration is due to the opportunity for participants who have not registered.

The Head of the Cooperation and Public Relations Subdivision, Markus Kusnardijanto, S.Sos, said that the enrollment of new student admissions for the Undergraduate Program through the Independent Selection has been extended. Initially, the form filling that is ended on Saturday, July 6, 2019 is extended until Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 16.00 WIB. The participants get the opportunity to fill in the biodata until 12-14 July 2019 at 23:59 WIB.

"To fill out the test answer sheet (LJU), the participants are required to bring a 2B pencil and a standard eraser," said Mark.

He also reminded the participants use the opportunity of the extend time well.

Dr. Hendro Wijanarko, MT, as the chairman of the PMB 2019 said the SM exam material uses the Print-Based Writing Test (UTBC) system. The SM test material is divided into two groups, namely the ScienceTechnology and Social Humaniora group.

Hendro added that the Science Technology group material tested is about a basic ability consisting of Academic Potential Tests, English Language, Indonesian Language and Citizenship. For Science Technology abilities, the tests consist of Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Meanwhile, the Social Humaniora group material tested is a basic ability consisting of Potential Scholastic Tests, Indonesian Language, English language and Citizenship. The ability of the Social Humaniora that is tested consists of History, Economics, Geography and Mathematical Social Sciences.

Meanwhile, the data from the UPNVY Information and Communication Technology Center (TIK) revealed that as many as 5,700 participants of regular participants and Bidikmisi participants had registered in the Independent Selection as of Thursday, July 5, 2019.
