UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta receives 1,595 new students through the State Higher Education Entrance Joint Selection (SBMPTN) pathway based on the results of the central committee of the Higher Education Entrance Test Institute (LTMPT) on Tuesday, July 9, 2019. Those students are divided into Science Technology groups with a total of 984 students and Social Humaniora group participants are 611 participants. Among these participants, 282 students are the participants of Bidikmisi.

The Deputy Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta Dr. Suharsono, MT said that the number of applicants for SBMPTN in 2019 was 26,326 participants. Their next stepis re-registration.

The Chairperson of PMB UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta Dr. Hendro Wijanarko, MS said that those who had not been fortunate to register on SBMPTN could still register for new student admissions through the Independent Selection at UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta. The new student admission through the Independent Selection is extended until 11 July 2019.

 On the same occasion, the Head of the Cooperation and Public Relations Subdivision Markus Kusnardijanto, S.Sos said that the announcement of SBMPTN results can also be accessed on the pmb.upnyk.ac.id page.

To be understood, UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta has received as many as 596 students who registered for SNMPTN 2019 whosw details is 49 Bidikmisi students and 447 regular students. Meanwhile, based on the ranking of the accepted students’ average grade, UPN Veteran Yogyakarta ranked the 8thfor the Social Sciences and 11thfor Science Technology.

The Independent Selection Test method of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta using Print-Based Writing Exams (UTBC) will be held on July 21, 2019. The test locations are in 7 locations, namely in Yogyakarta, Jakarta, Purwokerto, Pekanbaru, Banjarmasin, Balikpapan and Bontang.
