Sleman_ Petroleum Study Progr am of UPN "Veteran” (UPNVY) hopes to achieve A accreditation in field assessment conducted by a team of assessors from the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT). The assessor team consisted of Prof. Dr. Asep Kurnia Permadi and Dr. Muhammad Ramli. The visitation takes place at the Central Campus, Ari Lasut Federate Building, Petroleum Engineering Study Program Room, Monday to Tuesday (8 - 9/ 7/2019). They were present in the framework of the field assessment to obtain information about the data that had been written in Borong and submitted to BAN PT.
The Chancellor of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta, Dr. Irhas Effendi, M.S., in his remarks explained the history of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta from the beginning until becoming a University now that succeeded in producing a superior generation and became a pioneer of development.
The Chancellor hopes that by having this visitation, the Petroleum Study Program can achieve better accreditation.
The Dean of the Faculty of Mineral Technology, Dr. Suharsono, MT , said that the re-accreditation is in the framework of periodic evaluations that are continuously carried out by UPN "Veterans" Yogyakarta in order to maintain the quality of the institution.
On the same occasion, the head of the Department of Petroleum Study Program of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta, Dr. Ir. Drs. H. Herianto, MT, expressed his gratitude for the support of various parties, both alumni and academics who helped the study program accreditation visitation.
"I hope the Petroleum Study Program can get A accreditation and the Petroleum Study Program will open a Petroleum Doctoral Program in the near future," added the Head of the Mining Study Program.
This field assessment was accompanied by the chairman of the LP3M, Dr. Meilan Sugiarto, M.Si., and the head of the external quality assurance center, Dr. Puji Lestari, SIP. M.Sc., and the lecturers from the Mineral Technology Faculty.
