SLEMAN –The Independent Selection Test of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) will be held on Sunday (21/7). There will be 9,747 participants who will certainly attend the written test to compete for the 953 quota divided into 21 study programs.

The examinations will be held simultaneously in 7 cities, Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Purwokerto, Banjarmasin, Balikpapan, Bontang and Pekanbaru from 07.00 to 12:30 WIB.

The Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Suharsono, said that  UPNVY did not hold a mixed exam this year. The test material consists of basic ability tests and science technology / social humaniora skills.

"The science test is in the form of Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. As the Social Humaniora ability test is History, Economics, Geography and Mathematics and Social Sciences material", he said when being met at the Rector's Building on Friday (7/19).

Suharsono said that the first and second options of the science technology study program were Mining Engineering study program with 1,097 applicants. Meanwhile, the most interested first and second options of humanities were 1,744 applicants. "

UPNVY has repared 487 rooms, 974 supervisors and 21 location managers throughout Indonesia for this Independent Selection 2019. The independent track test results will be announced on Tuesday (30/7).

"UPNVY has prepared 420 exam room in several locations in Yogyakarta which are UPN campus, UII Condongcatur, Amikom, ITNY, STTN and surrounding campuses”, he explained.

The Dean of Mineral Technology Faculty urged the participants to check the test location according to what was printed on the test card on Saturday (7/20) starting at 10:00 WIB.
