DENPASAR - UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta Stand (UPNVY) received appreciation from the visitors of Ritech Expo 2019. This is proved from the number of enthusiastic visitors who came and visited the UPNVY stand until the second day of the exhibition, Monday (8/26).

"We open at 12.00 and close at 20.00 in accordance to the committee's rules. However, before the opening hours, there has been many people who have arrived”, said Wike Wijayanti, the Public Relations and Cooperation staff.

By late afternoon, Wike said the visitors increasingly came, so that her party had delayed closing the stand to serve the people who came.

"Some of the visitors came are students and college students. Still, there are also many people who come to bring their families deliberately”, she said.

On this occasion, UPNVY also exhibited the work of students namely Geobuild. Geobuild is a building construction projection application with geological disaster paramerter.

UPNVY's participation in the Ritech Expo is the second time after previously participating in 2018 which took place in Pekanbaru.

"Last year we presented innovations in the field of petroleum technology, the Appropriate Rig and received positive appreciation from visitors," she said.

Ritech Expo 2019 is held for four days from Sunday, August 25 to Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at Puputan Square, Renon, Denpasar, Bali. The annual event, which is a display of research and innovation results from the work of the nation's children, is directly presented by the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Menristekdikti) Mohamad Nasir accompanied by the Deputy Governor of Bali Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardana Sukawati, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Research and Technology Ainun Na'im and the General Director of Jumain Appe Innovation Strengthening

During the Ritech Expo, the public can take part in all the events for free of charge and will be presented with interesting innovation products from universities, Non-Ministry Government Institutions (LPNK) under the coordination of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Main Unit of Ministry of Research, Technology and Research, Research and Development Agency (Balitbang) Ministry or State Institutions (K / L), Regional Balitbang, BUMN, Industry, Community Science and Technology Center (PUI) community and associations, as well as foreign partners.
