SLEMAN - The dry season that hit Yogyakarta and its surrounding areas has various impacts. The weather is very hot and the scarcity of clean water is a direct impact on daily life.
PT Taspen Yogyakarta Branch together with the 80th Alumni of the Faculty of Economics UPN "Veterans" Yogyakarta helped residents in Dlingo District, Bantul by sending aid through water dropping. The assistance of 120 tanks was given in Pencitrejo Terong area on Monday (10/14).
The Branch Head of PT Taspen Yogyakarta, I Gede Agus Adi Sucipto, said the Environmental Development Program of PT Taspen can be provided in the form of humanitarian or social assistance that can be enjoyed by the community.
Previously, the 83rd alumni of the Economics Faculty of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta also did the same thing. A total of 125 clean water tanks were distributed to Girisubho subdistrict community, Gunung Kidul on Wednesday (9/10).
In this long dry season, people are asked to save water. The community is also encouraged to reduce activities outside the house if it is not too important.
In addition, the community is also asked to be aware of the impact of the transition / transitional season in the form of the moderate intensity potential for rain, especially in the late afternoon which could be accompanied by lightning and strong winds.
