Sleman_The New Student Admission System for UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta in 2020 can be taken through  3 kinds of selections,  namely the National Selection Entrance of State Universities (SNMPTN), Joint Selection Entrance of State Universities (SBMPTN),  and Independent Selection (SM). SNMPTN is a selection for PTN admission based on the academic grades or academic grades plus other achievements determined by PTN. This year before registering to SNMPTN 2020, the 12th grade high school / MA / SMK students apply for the account registration at the State Higher Education Entrance Test Institute (LTMPT) on the https://portal.ltmpt.ac.id page. The deadline for LTMPT account registration is January 7, 2020.

Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Suharsono, M.T.,  said that the government implements a Single Sign On (SSO) policy this year. This system distinguishes the SNMPTN system from the previous year. This system requires SMA / SMK / MA schools and students to register for the accounts in the LTMPT portal, by registering accounts in the portal https://portal.ltmpt.ac.id.

"Only 4 days to go, I hope that schools and students who want to take part in  SNMPTN 2020, must register on 2 December 2019 - 7 January 2020, because the Higher Education Entrance Test Institute will be closed soon", added UPNVY Academic Vice Chancellor.

Dr. Hendro Wijanarko, MSi, as the Chairperson of UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta New Student Admission, said that the schools and students who will take part in SNMPTN 2020 are expected to save data permanently soon. If schools and students do not change the status of their data to become permanent until January 7, 2020, they cannot register PDSS (School and Student Database) in SNMPTN 2020.

 Meanwhile, the 2020 graduate students who will not take part in SNMPTN 2020 but will take part in the UTBK-SBMPTN 2020 can register for an account on 7 February - 5 April 2020 along with the account registration for graduates of 2018 and 2019, the account registration can be done through http: //portal.ltmpt.ac.id, "he said.

Hendro added that the SNMPTN track is an achievement track, the registration fee is funded by the government.

On the same occasion, Markus Kusnardijanto, S. Sos, as the Head of the Cooperation and Public Relations Subdivision said that the opening of the registration for New Student Admission (SM) UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta will be opened from May 21 to July 3 2020.
