SLEMAN – The Chancellor of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) immediately issued an Encyclical Letter on preventing the spread of Covid-19. This letter containing 5 instructions was issued in response to the Encyclical Letter of Minister of Education and Culture and the Encyclical Letter of General Secretary of Ministry of Education and Culture on prevention of the Covid-19 virus.

The instructions of UPNVY Chancellor were related to the implementation of learning activities, academic services, and general services related to the spread of the Covid-19 virus in UPNVY campus environment. Following is the contents of the Encyclical Letter of the UPNVY Chancellor No. 9 of 2020 concerning the Preparedness and Prevention of the Spread of Co-19 in UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta.

1. Requesting all academics and employees in UPNVY to remain calm and behave in a healthy life in facefacing up against the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
2. Requesting all academicians and employees in UPNVY for not to do business trips in the country and overseas.
3. Carrying out online Midterm Exams.
4. Changing Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) in the form of face-to-face lectures into Non Face-to-Face Learning (PTTM).
5. Postponing and / or cancelling activities that involve many people.
