This protocol, which has been in effect since March 16, 2020, mentions that every person entering the campus area must take a body temperature screaning at the security post. For those whose body temperature exceeds 38 degrees Celsius, they will immediately be referred to the UPNVY Polyclinic for further examination.
"Those who enter the building area must place the jacket and gloves outside. Next, they must wash hands and use a handsanitizer”, said Eko Teguh Paripurno, the Head of the Covid-19 Prevention Task Force, in his short message.
ET, Eko’s greeting, mentions that everyone defitely must implement social distancing or keep a minimum distance of 1 meter in the room. This must be done due to the increasing spread of the Covid-19 virus.
"Everyone, with no exception for the leaders, must follow this protocol. All must obey the rule for the sake of mutual safety”, he said.
The sterilization is also carried out by spraying disinfecting liquids throughout the campus. Officers spray all rooms, offices, classes, seminars, services, laboratories, mosques, etc.
UPNVY produces the disinfectant liquid independently. Bambang Widiasmoro, the Head of General Affairs, Law, Procedure, and State Property explained the materials used to make disinfectant liquids were following the recommendations of WHO.
"We made it under the supervision of the Chemical Engineering Department and the officers were also provided with SOPs by the polyclinic health officers”, Bambang explained.
The disinfectant liquid sterilization is carried out from March 20, then it continued on March 23 to 27, 2020 including Campus 1 Condongcatur and Campus 2 Babarsari.
"The building sterilizing was only once, and then all must follow the Covid-19 prevention protocol that has been established”, he said. (wwj / PR)
