SLEMAN - The announcement of the results of the National Entrance Test for State Universities (SNMPTN) UPN "Veterans" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) is announced on Wednesday (8/4). A total of 715 students were declared to be prospective new students of UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) through the SNMPTN channel announced on the http://portal.ltmpt.ac.id page. Out of 715 students, 136 students are KIP-Kuliah participants.

 "22 percent or 96,496 students have got to the Sate Universites in Indonesia through SNMPTN. 715 of them are qualified to be UPNVY new students", explained Markus Kusnardijanto, the Head of Cooperation and Public Relations Section of UPNVY in a short message

Markus explained that the students passed the initial selection of 10,712 students who registered for UPNVY. Of these, the Management Department and three other majors are still favorites.  1128 participants registered to the Department of Management, 997 participants registered to Communication Studies, 905 participants registered to Mining Engineering, and 884 participants to Informatics.

"Departments and other study programs have an average enrollment of around 400. Pretty tight compared to the number of seats available", he explained.

After being declared passing the selection, the next step is to re-register online at the page http://pmb.upnyk.ac.id. The participants input data on April 13-17, 2020, then proceed to the announcement of the amount of the Single Tuition on April 27, 2020.

"Because the situation is like this and in the context of preventing Covid-19, all stages are done online. Hopefully, when the situation gets better, the participants will only take the almamater jacket", he explained.

All re-registration processes, continued Markus, will end on May 8, 2020. The participants who did not participate in the series of processes until the provisions dateline, they are declared resigned.

Markus suggests the students who have not passed to take the Computer Based Writing Examination and Joint Selection to Enter State Universities. UTBK and SBMPTN will begin their registration on June 2 - 20, 2020.
