SCHEDULE CHANGE OF PMB SM 2020 :: dipost pada 08 Mei 2020

Sleman - UPN "Veterans" Yogyakarta changed the schedule for registration, examinations and announcements of new Student Admissions (PMB) for the Independent Selection (SM) 2020. This change is related to the schedule of the Computer-Based Writing Examination (UTBK) which is conducted by the Institute of Higher Education Entrance Test due to the impact of Covid - 19.

The registration will be on 27 June - 28 July 2020.   Test will be on 2 August 2020 and the test results will be announced on 10 August 2020. The registration is online at pmb.upnyk.ac.id.

Dr. Hendro Wijanarko, MS as the head of the new students admission in 2020 said that the implementation of the UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta Independent Selection test still used the Print Based Test System (UTBC) or written based exam, but the implementation was different from the previous year because Covid-19 has not yet have the vaccine. The implementation system of UPNVY SM will use the health protocol. Before entering the room, the participants have to wash their hands, check their body temperature, the test location is 1 meter away and the test participants are required to wear a mask.

Hendro added that the implementation of UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta Independent Selection test will be held in eight locations in Indonesia, namely in Yogyakarta, Purwokerto, Madiun, Jakarta, Pekanbaru Riau, Bontang, Balikpapan and Banjarmasin. The participants who want to take the test location outside the city of Yogyakarta pay an additional fee paid along with the registration fee.

"The participants who have achievements at the Provincial, National and International level have more opportunities to study in UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta through the Independent Selection. The condition is that participants must also take part in the Independent Selection test process," added UPNVY PMB Chairperson.
