Sleman - International Relations Student Association (HIMAHI), Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), UPN "Veterans" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) organized social activities titled "Himahi Berbagi" (Himahi Shares). The UPHVY FISIP HIMAHI organization organized open donations through the Instagram account @himahi which was open until July 10, 2020. The purpose of this activity was to help out the people’s burden and encourage them affected by Covid-19.
Afif Sabwanto, as the person in charge of the UPNVY FISIP HIMAHI activities stated that “the Covid-19 case has not showned any signs of a decrease in cases. In some countries, the number of cases of corona virus is even more widespread. In Indonesia itself, the corona virus cases have reached more than 50,000 cases. This is the reason for us, to do social activities titled Himahi Berbagi”.
"The reason we hold this event is to see the pandemic condition that has not yet got better, there are still many of our brothers who need help to meet their daily needs. We try to help ease the burden and encourage them," said Afif Sabwanto, as the person in charge of Himahi Berbagi activities.
The Himahi organization conducted open donations via the Instagram account @himahi, which was opened until July 10, 2020. After the open donation activity was closed, they would immediately spend the money from donors for buying the materials distributed. They would also distribute it directly to people in need. The main priority of this activity is the International Relations (HI) students who are in need and certainly those in Yogyakarta. In addition to HI students, Himahi Shares also provided assistance to informal workers whose jobs are affected by the corona virus, which leaves them with no income. "For the target, anyway, we focus on HI friends first, but we will also distribute them to the informal workers. So, the system was that we did a survey and there was some input from friends to have this assistance goal," Afif continued.
In the execution of the activity, the organization does not involve all members because not all members are in Yogyakarta. Th

In the execution of the activity, the organization does not involve all members because not all members are in Yogyakarta. They use 3 cars with different objectives for the distribution process. "To distribute the food, in God’s willing, it will be divided into 3 cars later. The first car goes to the residence of HI students in Babarsari, then one car to Seturan, and one more car to several points in cities such as Malioboro and Beringharjo Market," said Afif.
Afif's hopes for this activity help the HI students and informal workers, especially to meet their daily needs. In addition, Afif also hopes that the corona virus will end soon so that the community can return to work and the students can also immediately study face to face again.
