Sleman - Student Creativity Program (PKM) is one of the prestigious events for students all over Indonesia. The program of these activities is organized by the General Director of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud). Due to the condition of the Covid-19 pandemic which is still rife in the world, especially in Indonesia, the PKM 2020 socialization will be carried out online.

Oliver C. Simanjuntak, M.Kom as the student supervisor of PKM UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta stated that one of the national scale student activity programs that experienced the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic was Student Creativity Program (PKM) which is one of the prestigious events for students in Indonesia. Student activities that have successfully passed PKM funding which are generally carried out at the beginning of the even semester or the beginning of the year cannot be done as usual this year.

Oliver added that the socialization of the Student Creativity Program (PKM) Addendum 2020 was carried out via the Zoom app and also broadcast via the Higher Education Student Youtube account in which the representatives of all tertiary institutions in Indonesia participated. The socialization was carried out in 2 stages, that were on 10 and 11 July 2020.

Oliver added that the socialization activity began with a discussion of student coaching in the field of PKM, basic matters relating to PKM, including types, objectives, and PKM handbooks. The PKM 5 divisions implementation will continue to be carried out by making adjustments and revisions of the PKM handbook 2020. Therefore, it will still be carried out by continuing to implement physical distancing; it is no longer done in the laboratory or field, but done at home.

He conveyed that the characteristics of PKM 5 divisions in 2020 was certainly the physical activity output, but because all activities were constrained due to Covid-19, so most academic activities would be conducted online. Thus, in this digital transformation efforts, the output activities will also be made to digital products. "

The PKM implementation agenda 2020 was began with the preparation and preparation of an Addendum on June 16-30, 2020 followed by the selection and evaluation of the PKM Proposal of the 5 Divisons on July 15-30, 2020. The announcement of the PKM 5 Divisions funded will be on August 1, 2020 and the implementation will only lasts about 2 months, that in the period of 10 August to 30 September 2020. The PKM activity 2020 is an important student activity, so it needs to be adjusted in its implementation. "It is important to pay attention and appreciate the efforts and enthusiasm of universities in Indonesia in submitting the PKM funding proposal 2020, so that by having the Covid-19 pandemic, it is necessary to adjust all national student programs," Oliver added.
