SLEMAN - A total of 2,247 UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta (UPNVY) students from all levels receive a single tuition fee (UKT) and SPP payment relief in 2020. They come from Diploma, Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Programs who are currently taking odd semesters in the Academic Year 2020/2021. This decision is in the announcement letter No. 415 / PENG / UN62 / TM.01.04 / 2020 dated 11 August 2020 which was signed by the Vice Chancellor for General and Finance Affairs, Dr. Susanta. Of this total, 1,316 students get a single tuition payment relief of 30-50%. This relief is for students who only need to take courses less than or equal to 6 (six) Semester Credit Units in accordance with UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta Chancellor Regulation Number 7 of 2020, June 26, 2020. A total of 461 students affected by Covid-19 who are currently completing final assignments, Thesis, and Dissertation get single tuition payment exemption. This exemption is in accordance with UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta Chancellor Regulation Number 3 of 2020 dated May 4, 2020. As many as 270 students affected by Covid-19 in the Odd Semester of Bachelor and Diploma Program for the Academic Year 2020/2021 received a reduction, delay or instalment of single tuition payments. This mechanism is in accordance with UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta Chancellor Regulation Number 4 of 2020 dated May 4, 2020. Meanwhile, 259 students get re-enactment of the Single Tuition Fee. This mechanism is in accordance with UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta Chancellor Regulation Number 5 of 2020 on May 4, 2020. The announcement letter states that the UKT / SPP Regular payment will be made from 11 August to 24 August 2020. The students who are approved to make UKT / SPP payment instalments can pay them for 2 (two) times with the amount of each instalment, namely Instalment I 50% : from 11 August to 24 August 2020, Instalment II 50% : from 28 September to 9 October 2020. Meanwhile, the students who are approved to postpone UKT / SPP payments can pay them from September 28 to October 9, 2020. It is a form of UPNVY's commitment and attention to the students to continue their studies in the midst the Covid-19 pandemic.
