Sleman_UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta (UPNVY) received 1,833 new undergraduate student candidates through the State Higher Education Entrance Joint Selection (SBMPTN) pathway 2020. The SBMPTN results were announced simultaneously throughout Indonesia, Friday (14/8/2020) at 15.00 WIB on page http://pengumuman-sbmptn.ltmpt.ac.id. Of these, 1,057 participants were accepted in the Science and Technology study program and 776 were accepted in the Social Sciences study program.

Dr. Suharsono, MT as the Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs said that the participants who are admitted to UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta through SBMPTN 2020 must register and upload the required documents on the pmb.upnyk.ac.id page. The registration procedure for new SBMPTN student candidates 2020 can be accessed from Friday to Monday, 21-24 August 2020.

The Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs added that the admission to UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta after SBMPTN is Independent Selection (SM). This year, the UPNVY admission is different from the previous year. There are 3 ways for the SM, namely through the achievement pathway, the Computer-Based Test score (UTBK) and the Print-Based Test (UTBC). The registration for SM through UTBK and UTBC scores starts on July 23 - August 24, 2020.

He added that the UTBC exam will be held in 3 locations, namely Yogyakarta, Purwokerto and Semarang. The UTBC exam will be held in Yogyakarta on 28, 29 and 30 August 2020, while the implementation of the exam in Purwokerto and Semarang is 30 August 2020. The announcement of UTBK score results the UTBC exam will be announced on September 8, 2020. The registration fee for SM through UTBK and UTBC are Rp. 250,000. The material for the SM examination through UTBC is the Scholastic Potential Test (TPS).
