SLEMAN – The implementation of Print-Based Written Examination (UTBC) for UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta (UTBC) Independent Selection is held on 29 and 30 August 2020. Each day will be divided into four sessions, namely 08.00 - 10.00 WIB, 09.00 - 11.00 WIB, 13.00 - 15.00 WIB, and 14.00 - 16.00 WIB.

Until the closing of registration on Wednesday (26/8), around 5,500 participants will be taking a part in UTBC in Yogyakarta, Purwokerto and Semarang.

"We divide it into three cities, so that participants are not concentrated in Yogyakarta. UTBC this time uses a strict COVID-19 prevention protocol," explained Markus Kusnardijanto, the Head of Sub Division of Cooperation and Public Relations.

Markus explained that the committee will use classrooms by concerning the safe distances according to the physical distancing rules. The classrooms with a capacity of 40 - 50 people will only have 16 participants and 2 supervisors.

The rooms and facilities will be sprayed with disinfectants before and after being used.

"The participants are requested to come one hour before the exam starts. Pay attention to the time, location, and exam room, don't be mistaken," he explained.

The following are the equipment that participants must bring/have/wear during the UTBC test 2020, namely:

  1. a participant card, Identity card, namely KTP, SIM or student card.
  2. Masks.
  3. a Face-shield
  4. a hand scone (gloves)
  5. Hand-sanitizer
  6. a Health Certificate from a health facility
  7. a collar and long sleeves
  8. shoes

Having the COVID-19 pandemic, the  UTBC test 2020 is only a Scholastic Potential Test (TPS). TPS measures cognitive abilities, namely general reasoning and understanding abilities that are important for the success in formal schools, especially higher education.

Apart from UTBC, the Independent  Selection UPNVY also held a selection based on the UTBK - SBMPTN value this year's. The results of UTBK and UTBC score selection will be announced on September 8, 2020 on the http://pmb.upnyk.ac.id page. (wwj / public relations)
