SLEMAN - UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) and the Regional Council Daily Batch 45 committed to improve the spirit of patriotism of new students. This commitment was reinforced by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation Agreement on both sides on Wednesday (16/08/2017).

The text of cooperation on the implementation of Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi, was signed directly by Rector UPNVY, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sari Bahagiarti K, M.Sc and the Chairman of the Regional Council of the Regional Forces 45 DIY, Prof.Dr.H.Koento Wibisono Siswomihardjo.

"We are held by the Minister of Defense in order to maintain the character of the university as a state defense campus. Cooperation with Batch 45 is part of our commitment to maintain the mandate, "said Rector.

According to the Rector, the cooperation with 45 is the right momentum in upholding the values ??of discipline, stance, creativity, love of the country, and commitment in maintaining the four pillars of Indonesian nationality.

In the same occasion, the General Chief of the Regional Council of the 45th Division of DIY said that his division would participate in providing knowledge about defending the State to new students on the campus introduction material.

"We will convey the relevance of cultural values ??45 with state defense," said former Rector of the University of Sebelas Maret.
