SLEMAN - UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) has accredited itself from the curriculum, facilities and infrastructure to make Accreditation of Higher Education Institution (AIPT). The visitation is one part of the accreditation process submitted by UPNVY to the National Accreditation of Higher Education (BAN-PT).

In accordance to the schedule, the assessor team from BAN-PT, ie Prof. Dr. Abdul Salam Sofro, Ph.D, Dr. Deden Makbullah, MA, Prof. Dr. Eka Afnan Troena, SE and Dr. Ir. Prastawa Budi were welcomed by the Rector, Vice Rectors, and heads of faculties.

The visitation or field assessment activity was began with a meeting between the Assessor Team and the UPNVY Leader and the academic community. The accreditation visitation was held at UPN Condong Catur campus, Sleman  on September 5, 2017.

According to UPNVY Rector, Prof. Sari Bahagiarti K, M.Sc, the visitation process in the framework of accreditation  was an important part to improve the quality of academic management in UPNVY for better. This was stated by the Rector when officially receiving the assessors of BAN PT in Room Seminar 5th floor, Rectorate Building, Tuesday (09/05/2017).

"Thank you to the presence of the assessors team to UPN, we are working on more than just the accreditation process." Rector in front of Asesor and academic community.

Furthermore, the Rector said the BAN PT Assessor team was expected to exchange ideas, views, and interactions during visitation.

In the visitation, the assessor team also visited the unit as well as some facilities in UPNVY. Separately the assessor team also conducted interviews with students from each Study Program, as well as several alumni.

In addition, interviews were also conducted by inviting stakeholders. Not to be missed, the assessor team also interviewed permanent lecturers, lecturers, and education personnel.

This visitation is expected to have a result of UPNVY to be a primer place for studying to get knowledge. (wwj-dewi / humas)
