SLEMAN - UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) held Ceremony of Hari Kesaktian Pancasila at Ceremony Field, Monday (2/10/2017). The Rector of UPNVY, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sari Bahagiarti K, M.Sc. led the ceremony.

Unlike the previous ceremony, the participants of the ceremony wore batik uniforms. This was because the ceremony was held to coincide the commemoration of National Batik Day.

The Vice Rectors, faculty and institute leaders, lecturers, education personnel, and students also attended the ceremony.

At the Ceremony with the theme of 'Collaborative Work Based on Pancasila Achieving Fair and Prosperous Society', the Rector read out the following pledge:

PLEDGE

In the Grace of Almighty God, we who perform this ceremony are fully aware:

that since the proclamation of the Independence of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17, 1945 there in fact has been many threats both from domestic and abroad against the State Unity of the Republic of Indonesia;

that the threat is made possible by the ignorance of the Indonesian Nation against activities which attempt to overthrow Pancasila as the state ideology;

that with the spirit of togetherness based on the noble values ??of Pancasila ideology, the Indonesian nation can still strengthen the establishment of the State Unity of the Republic of Indonesia;                                               

then in the presence of  Almighty God in commemorating the Hari Kesaktian Pancasila , we are determined to maintain and practice the values ??of Pancasila as a source of power to raise togetherness to fight for, uphold the truth and justice for the unity of Republic of Indonesia.
