SLEMAN - Hundreds of graduates of Faculty of Industrial Engineering UPNVY attended graduation ceremony at Gedung Pattimura III, UPN Condongcatur Campus, Wednesday (11/10/2017).

Debriefing with the theme of "Facing the Challenge of the World of Work" was presented by Dr. Sumaryono, M.Si., Psi, from the Psychology Faculty of Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta and Abdul Rohim Siregar, President Director of PT. Navagraha who is also an alumnus of Chemical Engineering Faculty of Industrial Engineering UPNVY.

According to Dr. Sumaryono, M.Si, current challenges the world of work has increasingly been more competitive. Therefore,it required a strategy to apply in the company.

With the technological development of application form and one's profile is not done manually anymore.

"The application form and the profile of a person in applying for the job at this time has no longer been done manually, but it must follow the development of existing technology," explained Secretary of Master Program of Psychology Profession of Faculty of Psychology UGM.

Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering, Ir. Tjukup Marnoto, M.T., Ph.D. in a speech delivered in the event said that this event was held to provide more knowledge to graduates who will graduate on the Graduation Period-1 Academic Year 2017/2018 in facing the challenges of the world of work. The graduation is not the end but is the beginning of the struggle to pursue a career in the future.

As one of the alumni Tjukup advised that the graduates must br able to become a development pioneer who has the spirit of defending the country and love the country.

In addition, the science that has been obtained in college can be utilized properly and beneficial for the development of society, nation, and country.
