SLEMAN - To increase the students’ interest of entrepreneurship, Student Executive Board (BEM) of Faculty of Industrial Engineering held Seminar and Entrepreneurship Talkshow at International Relationship Studies Laboratory UPN Tambakbayan Campus on Saturday (30/9).

According to the Chairman of Seminar Committee and Entrepreneurship Talkshow, Dewi Anggraeni, the purpose of this activity was to increase the Faculty of Industrial Engineering students’ interest in entrepreneurs.

"This activity is to improve euphoria of the students of Faculty of Industrial Engineering in entrepreneurship, because the interest of students for entrepreneurship is still low now," she explained.

Tano Nazoeaggi (General Manager at Bakpia), Putri Melati (Owner Sisterclay), and Erlin Aprilia (Owner Elsebeauty) presented as speakers on the activities held at Harmanto (President Commissioner of PT Mahkotadewa Indonesia).

Harmanto in his presentation said, it be must started  with branding and sensitive dynamic business flow to start a business. In addition, starting at college, student should think of job opportunities when graduating. Not only become a worker but aldo be a jobs creator.

According to the President Commissioner of PT. Mahkotadewa Indonesia, there are three types of people in the world. The first is the person who makes the thing happened, the secondis the person who just sees, and the third is a person who feels  frightened. For thatcondition, he continued as a student should be the first type, and may not be afraid to try.

Meanwhile, Tano Nazoeaggi recounted his successful experiences in making bakpia which is a typical food of Yogyakarta. According to him, an attractive packaging is one of the selling points of a business. (BMW-fti)
