Telkomsel Digitalizes UNIVERSITAS PEMBANGUNAN NASIONAL “VETERAN” YOGYAKARTA :: dipost pada 26 Januari 2017

Yogyakarta – Telkomsel, in cooperation with Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta has signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the fields of education, research, social responsibility and quality improvement of human resources.

This Memorandum of Understanding is signed by the Telkomsel’s Sales General Manager for Central Java and Special Province of Yogyakarta, Mr. Djoni Heru Suprijatno and Rector of Univeritas Pembangunan Nasional (UPN) “Veteran” Yogyakarta, Mrs. Prof.Dr. Ir. Sari Bahagiarti K, M. Sc., witnessed by the Rector’s personnel and academicians of UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta, taking place at Swis Belhotel, Yogyakarta.

Djoni says, “Through this cooperation between UPN and Telkomsel, we invite UPN to work together and actively participate in building the digital ecosystem in the country. One of the ways to do this is via the creation of the system/application for admission of new students.  With this application, the academicians, students and the management of UPN “Veteran” will be able to easily access all the information of the campus. This application generated from the cooperation between UPN and Telkomsel may be downloaded on Google Play”.

Apart from the facilities for easy admissionfor new students,Telkomsel also provides UPN with a special telecommunication facility called Close User Group (CUG). Students and academicians of UPN can make telephone calls and send short messages for free, only by re-depositing Rp 10,000,- per month.

“This cooperation creates the mementum between the two institutions with similar mission to develop the country. Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta as the leading agent in providing its services in educational sector and Telkomsel, being the Leading Telecommunication operator in Indonesia, join hands to develop the country by providing the telecommunication networks and creating digital ecosystem in Indonesia”, said Djoni.
