SLEMAN - In order to support the implementation of curriculum based on the National Curriculum Framework of Indonesia (KKNI), graduates of Informatics Engineering Department of UPN Veteran Yogyakarta (UPNVY) must have a professional certificate. This was conveyed by the Head of Informatics Engineering Department, Bambang Yuwono, S.T., M.T. in his explanation when receiving the visit of students and teachers of SMK Al-Kyai Sitiaji, Sukosewu in the Laboratory Network Room of Informatics Engineering Department, Wednesday (10/12).

According to Bambang, all graduates must  own competency certificates  of Informatics Engineering Department as a supporter of Certificate of Certificate of Diploma (SKPI) in the framework of the implementation of KKNI-based curriculum.

" we work together with the National Board of Professional Certification (BNSP) and Professional Certification Institution (LSP) for  the implementation of the domestic or national ones. While the international is the result of cooperation with Multimatic, and it will  explore a cooperation with Cisco, in the future" he said in front of students and teachers.

The graduates are equivalent to other graduates who come from other universities by having professional certification.
