SNMPTN is a selection based on student achievement and student portfolio results sourced from School Database and Student Database (PDSS). Nasir reminded the principals to be careful in entering the student and school data.
"All schools are expected to deliver the original data meaning does not manipulate the data. Principal must verify it carefully, "said Nasir. SMA, SMK, or MA who can register their students must meet the requirements.
A school with A accreditation could enroll 50 percent of the best students in their schools. While B accredited school could register 30 percent of the best students in the school. As a C accredited school could enroll 10 percent of the best students in his school. Not accredited A, B, or C Schools could register the best 5 percent of the schools.
The following lines of the SNMPTN period;
- Filling and verification of PDSS on January 13-February 10,
- Announcement of the results of the selection on April 17, 2018,
- Re-enrollment of participants who were accepted in state universities respectively on May 8, 2018. The re-registration was done simultaneously with SBMPTN Written Test.
Chairman of the central committee of SNMPTN and SBMPTN 2018, Ravik Karsidi said, the number of participants SNMPTN 2018 would increase from last year. SNMPTN Participants School 2017 amounted to 14,397 with 130,854 students. The number of state universities that received new students through SNMPTN this year was 86. "This year will be more extensive.
