Medan - UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) won 3 champiions in Anugerah Humas PTN and Kopertis 2017 held by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education. The award was submitted by the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education, Prof. Mohamad Nasir on the series of Kemenristekdikti Rakernas 2018 which took place at the University of North Sumatra, Tuesday (16/1/2017).

On the prime award of PTN - Kopertis, UPNVY succeeded in setting aside other nominees in the group of new State Universities.

UPNVY won 1st  Place Publicity Category, 3rd  Winner Website Category, and 3rd  Winner Social Media Category.

Rector UPNVY, Prof. Sari Bahagiarti K, M.Sc said she was very proud of the achievement. This award was an appreciation for the performance of public relations during this time.

"Thank you for friends in PR for their hard work, hopefully you keep the spirit of work and continue to improve the quality," she said after receiving the award.

Being met on the sidelines, the Head of Public Communication, Kemenristekdikti, Munawir Razak said this activity aimed to appreciate the performance of public relations of PTN and Kopertis during the year of 2017 which has been acting as a disseminator of Kemenristekdikti information.

"The judging on the Public Relations Award of PTN and Kopertis has been done since mid-2017 by a jury appointed by Kemenristekdikti," said Munawir.

The Juries of Anugerah Humas PTN and Kopertis 2017 were professionals in the field of communication and public relations both with various backgrounds such as academics, experts and practitioners who work independently in assessing the performance of public relations of PTN and Kopertis in several categories including publicity, website, and media social.

In the judging process, PTN and Kopertis were grouped into 5 groups, namely PTN BH, PTN BLU and Satker, new PTN, Polytechnic, and Kopertis.
