KORANBERNAS.ID - The Indonesian Idol talent search event was once again held by one of the private television. As in previous years, the talents of Yogyakarta again colored the singing contest.

Namely,  Bianca Jodie who is currently a contestant of Indonesian Idol 2018. She passed the elimination round after getting a golden ticket in auditions sometimes ago at the Jogja Expo Center (JEC).

In a unique voice, the 21-year-old  girl attracted the jurors like Maia Estianti, Bunga Citra Lestari or BCL and Armand Maulana while singing James Arthur's 'Say You Will not Let Go' and 'Side to Side' of Ariana Grande.

Bianca again passed  the elimination round after singing Adele's 'When We Were Young'. With a unique voice and innocence, the third daughter of the couple Benecditus Indriartanto and Bertha Cahyani was again captivate the jury.

Although it was the first time participated in the Idol contest, the final semester student of the Department of International Relations (HI) UPN 'Veteran' Yogyakarta has a myriad of achievements in the field of drag votes. Her hobby of singing since the age of 3 years, Bianca even began to 'sell' her voice by singing in the cafe with her eldest brother, Michael Juan - a national pianist when she was in grade VI SD.

"We regularly sing twice a week in cafes for a hundred thousand per month at six sd grade," Bianca told koranbernas.id  before leaving to Jakarta following the Indonesian Idol elimination round.

Used to sing, the girl who was born on March 30, 1996 tryied to join the singing contest when she was in junior high and high school. She  succeeded to be the 2nd  winner in DIY singing competition and the 3rd  winner in the band contest held by the Education Office of Youth and Sports (Disdikpora) DIY when she studyied at SMAN 1 Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta.

Bianca's name is increasingly known when she was active in youtuber for the last few years. The girl who is also the gamer  covered a number of songs on Youtube like 'Bimbang' owned by Melly Goeslow which until now has been watched by 490,000 viewers and 'Sing Me to Sleep' Alan Walker being watched by 138,000 viewers.

Seeing the extraordinary talent, a young music producer and other youtuber, Alffy Rev invited Bianca to collaborate to cover a number of songs. The result is remarkable, the song of Payung Teduh entitled Untuk Perempuan yang Sedang Dalam Pelukan ' which they sang together has been watched by more than 3.3 million viewers to date.

Trying out the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) genre, Bianca who also used the name Brisia on Youtube with Alffy singing the national song titled 'Tanah Air'. They took Gasita Karawitan in a song that has been watched by more than 3.5 million viewers.

"In this collaboration, we did not initially focus on the number of viewers or subscribers. Covering the song we made because we want to cover songs that can make people shudder when they hear it. It turns out that many people like it and the video is watched by more audiance, "he explained.

Bianca confessed, in singing she was inspired by Louisa Johnson, a singer of United Kingdom X-Factor 2015. According to the girl who is currently endorsed by a lot of beauty products, skin care, fashion and mike, Louisa sings with her own character without any contrived.

"I also want to be like the famous Louisa for my voice character, not because of my voice that resembles the voice character of other singers," he said.

The owner of this Diplomat aspiration added that her current popularity is in addition to the hard work, thanks to the full support of the family. Bianca always remembers her mother's advice that she can change the world through her voice.

Therefore in Indonesian Idol this time, Bianca tried to do the best. She  hoped the public and the fans supported her in the talent search event.
